Privacy

We only keep what you choose to give us:

• Reports you save. When you press Save, we keep the flat you checked, the adjustments you made and the money figures you typed, such as your cash, CPF and loan, or as a seller your loan and CPF refund. We keep them so the report opens again from its link. We don't ask for your name, email or NRIC.
• Pages you share. Sharing makes a separate copy that shows the evidence only, without your money figures, so you can show it to someone else.
• Prices you tell us afterwards. If you enter the price you agreed or HDB's valuation, we keep it with the report to check how close our estimates came.
• Corrections about nearby places. If you tell us a place on the map is wrong or missing, we keep what you wrote so we can fix it.
• Emails you send us. We keep your address and message to answer you.
• Technical records. Our hosting providers keep standard records of requests to the site, such as IP addresses and times, to run it and protect it. Our server also uses your IP address briefly, in memory, to limit how often one address can share reports or send prices.

• The list of reports you saved is kept in your browser, so you can find them again. We can't see it.
• Photos you add stay in your browser. Reading them (the photo check) would send smaller copies to our server and an outside photo-reading service. The photo check is switched off for now, and while it is off the page doesn't upload photos. We'll update this page before switching it on.

We don't sell your data, use advertising trackers, or share your data for marketing.

• Supabase stores saved reports, prices you tell us and corrections, in its Singapore region.
• Railway runs the website, in its Singapore region.
• Namecheap runs our email, on its servers in the United States.
• OneMap, run by the Singapore Land Authority, supplies the map images. Your browser loads them from OneMap directly, so OneMap sees your IP address. Postal code searches are looked up by our server.

Supabase, Railway and Namecheap are overseas companies. Supabase and Railway keep FairValue's data in Singapore, but their staff and some of their systems may be outside Singapore. Emails you send us are kept by Namecheap in the United States.

When sign-in and paid passes start, we'll also keep your email address to sign you in, the flats and plans you save, and a record of each payment. Stripe will take payments, so we never see your card number. We'll update this page before any of that starts.

Saved reports, shared pages and the prices you tell us stay until you ask us to delete them, so their links keep working. We'll set fixed time limits before accounts start, and show them here. Corrections stay until we've used them. We keep emails as long as we need them to deal with your request. Technical records are kept by our hosting providers for their standard periods.

Saved reports aren't linked to a name, so we use the report link to find yours. Email us with:

• To see or correct data: the report link. We can also tell you how that data has been used or shared in the past year. We reply promptly; if we need longer than 30 days, we tell you within 30 days when we will reply.
• To delete a report: the report link, and the link of any page you shared from it. We delete the report, those shared pages and any price you told us. Copies in our providers' backups are removed as those backups expire.
• To withdraw your consent: tell us what you want us to stop using. We stop, and delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.

If you no longer have a report's link, we can't tell which report is yours, because we don't know who made it.

A report opens for anyone who has its link, so share the link with care. Saved reports and the prices you tell us aren't publicly readable from our database. Only FairValue's server and the person who runs FairValue, when looking after the service or acting on your request, can read them. Connections to FairValue are encrypted.

When we change this page, we change the date at the top.
